Integration with Zapier and DocuSign: Send a document signing request with prefilled data for new Planyo reservations
Video transcript: First let's add the
Zapier extension to
the Planyo account.
Copy the API key to clipboard.
Now let's create a zap in
Zapier which
will automatically send a signature
request to the customers for all
confirmed reservations.
The trigger will be a confirmed
reservation in Planyo.
Paste the API key from the clipboard.
The best way to test the trigger is if
you have at least one existing
reservation in your Planyo account.
Now connect Zapier to your DocuSign
account and create a signature request
event.
Choose an existing template: we'll use
the rental agreement template which
includes personal fields such as
customer's name, email address, arrival and
departure dates and signatures.
For each field in the template select
the corresponding data field from Planyo.
Now let's test the entire reservation
process.
We're using a test payment gateway to
simulate making a successful credit card
transaction.
The customer now receives the
confirmation from Planyo as well as an
email from DocuSign requesting the
contract to be signed.
As you can see all the fields are
automatically pre-filled based on the
reservation data sent by Planyo.
The signed document will now be emailed
to the accommodation owner
